One of the main objectives of the LION project is to create an informal network between Third Country Nationals and the local society so as to promote cooperative mechanisms and strengthen interaction between them.
A series of workshops were organised for hospital staff and police officers,.in order for the latter to become more familiar with TCNs’ needs.
The main objective of these workshops was to combat stereotypes and xenophobia, and raise awareness on issues related to cultural diversity as an important skill for effective medical care and police assistance. The number of participants in each workshop was between 12 and 31 people. Specifically:
Two Workshops for Police Officers took place on:
